Faith & Politics: Washington DC

Join us on an immersive pilgrimage to our nation’s capital. We will learn about how faith has informed our civic life while exploring the city, including its world-class museums and other notable attractions. The cost includes lodging, flights, tour/museum costs, some meals, and in-city transportation. A tentative schedule is below.
Lodging: The Ven at Embassy Row
Flights:
- Thursday, June 18th: American Airlines 5031, departing GSP at 7:52a, arriving to DCA at 9:29a
- Sunday, June 21st: American Airlines 5497, departing DCA at 8:20p, arriving to GSP at 9:53p.
Option 1: Flying with WPC:*
- Single bed, one registration: $1,400
- Single lodging, two registrants: $1,800
Option 2: Traveling on your own:*
- Single bed, one registration: $1,000
- Single lodging, two registrants: $1,400

Thursday:
- The Museum of the Bible
- The Holocaust Memorial
- Evening Monument Tour of the Potomac
Friday (Juneteenth):
- Breakfast with the Jesuits of Georgetown (or the Catholic folks)
- The National Museum of African American History
- Washington Mystics or Nationals game
Saturday:
- The Frederick Douglass National Historical Site
- Lunch with the Jerusalem Fund/ Palestine Center
- Hop-on Trolley Tour of DC
Sunday:
- Worship
- Free time at the Mall
- (evening flight home)
