Westminster Presbyterian Church, a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), is a community of faith dedicated to enhancing the spiritual lives of our members and addressing the needs of the surrounding communities and the world. Welcome Home Drive
Throughout March
Throughout March, Westminster is partnering with World Relief Upstate to collect enough furniture and household items to supply an apartment for a refugee family of four. Items may be purchased from our Amazon wish list, or you may sign up to donate new or gently used items. Limited drop-off times for donated items TBA.
Women's Spring Luncheon
April 23
The Women of Westminster Spring Luncheon will be at 12:15p on Sunday, April 23, in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your daughters and mothers and join us to hear the Reverend Jennifer Fouse Sheorn, a pillar in our community from Triune Mercy. Lunch, catered by Brick Street Café, will cost $13 per adult and $8 per child.
Middler Mission Trip
June 18-23, 2023
Working with Youth Mission Co., middlers will engage in a variety of outreach and reflection projects in Asheville. Youth Mission Co. will help middlers take a deeper look in a tourist town and work with agencies who stand with people in poverty, homelessness, and food insecurity.
VBS: Food Truck Party
July 24-28, 2023
Rising Kindergarteners through rising 5th Graders are invited to join us for Food Truck Party Vacation Bible School. Children will learn to pray as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:11, "Give us this day our daily bread," and will explore Bible stories through science, music, crafts, recreation, fellowship, and service.
Civil Rights Pilgrimage
August 3-6, 2023
We will return to Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, and Birmingham on our 2023 Civil Rights Pilgrimage. Covered in the cost is transportation, admission to museums and memorials, breakfasts each day, and certain group meals. Contact Leigh Stuckey or Julia Watkins for more information.
